The grade for Pakistan Studies is formed by equal weight-age of each of both its components. Thus,
- The component is of 75 marks – but its contribution to the weight-age is 50 percent.
- Every mistake of 1 marks in the paper would be equivalent to 0.67 percent lost on the over all subject.
- Scoring 90 plus in this component is crucial to the overall good result in Pakistan Studies subject.

5 Questions Total- 3 Questions Need To Be Solved
- Question 1 – Compulsory – 25 marks

- Will focus on only 1 section in total
- Has 4 Sub parts
- Part (a) and (b) are based on sources
- Part (c) is similar to 7-marks question (discussed below)
- Part (d) is similar to 14-marks question (discussed below)
- Question 2-5 – Do any 2 – 25 marks each
- Each question will be from 1 particular section
- Each question can test multiple key questions for the same section
- There will AT LEAST be one complete 25 marks question for each section.

- Quick fact check, needs 4 distinct points in paragraph form.
- Part (b) is 7 marks
- Need explanation of all relevant points (at least 4)
- Part (c) is argumentative question of 14 marks
- Requires a complete argumentative essay

The overall time for the paper: 1 hour 30 mins
Desired time for 4 marks question: 3 minutes
Desired time for 7 marks question: 6 minutes
Desired time for 14 marks question: 12 minutes
