Worked example
Expand (2x − 3)(x² + x + 4).
- Multiply 2x: 2x³ + 2x² + 8x.
- Multiply −3: −3x² − 3x − 12.
- Combine: 2x³ − x² + 5x − 12.
Answer: 2x³ − x² + 5x − 12.
