2. INTRODUCTION PARAGRAPH
Same 3-part structure (but more formal):
Sentence 1 → General Statement
- Broad and factual
Sentence 2 → Purpose
- What the report is about
Sentence 3 → Scope
- What will be examined
No opinion here.
3. BODY PARAGRAPH 1 — FIRST SIDE
- One side only
- Summarise given points
- Add 1–2 own points
4. BODY PARAGRAPH 2 — OTHER SIDE
- Opposite side only
- Same method
- Add 1–2 own points
IMPORTANT BODY RULE
Do NOT mix both sides in one paragraph.
5. ANALYSIS PARAGRAPH (GENERALISED EVALUATION)
- Generalise the type of people behind each viewpoint
- Youth → experience-driven
- Experts → logical, long-term thinking
Then:
- Compare
- Evaluate credibility
- Decide which is more reliable
Tone must remain objective, not emotional
6. CONCLUSION PARAGRAPH
- 1–2 lines only
- Formal and controlled
- No new ideas
- No repetition
Can slightly lean toward the stronger side, but remain neutral.
