1) earlier / before → پہلے / اس سے پہلے

2) previously / formerly → پہلے / سابقہ طور پر

formerly	سابقہ طور پر	He was formerly a teacher.	وہ سابقہ طور پر استاد تھا۔

3) recently / lately → حال ہی میں / تازہ تازہ

4) just / just now → ابھی / ابھی ابھی

just now	ابھی ابھی	She just now arrived.	وہ ابھی ابھی پہنچی ہے۔

5) soon / shortly / in a little while → جلد / تھوڑی دیر میں / کچھ ہی دیر میں

6) long ago / a long time ago → بہت عرصہ پہلے / زمانہ پہلے

7) recently vs earlier (contrast markers)

8) now / at present / these days → اب / فی الحال / آج کل

9) in the past / in future → ماضی میں / مستقبل میں

in the future	مستقبل میں	In the future, cars will be electric.	مستقبل میں گاڑیاں برقی ہوں گی۔

10) earlier than / later than → سے پہلے / سے بعد

11) from then on / ever since → تب سے / تب سے لے کر اب تک

12) any time now / at any moment → کسی بھی وقت / کسی بھی لمحے
