Basic Condition Connectors (If-clauses)

if	اگر	If you study, you will pass.	اگر تم پڑھو تو تم پاس ہو جاؤ گے۔
when (conditional)	جب	When you heat ice, it melts.	جب تم برف کو گرم کرو تو یہ پگھلتی ہے۔
whenever	جب بھی	Whenever he calls, answer politely.	جب بھی وہ کال کرے، مؤدبانہ جواب دو۔
provided that	بشرطیکہ	You can go provided that you finish homework.	تم جا سکتے ہو بشرطیکہ ہوم ورک مکمل کرو۔
as long as	جب تک	As long as you try, you will improve.	جب تک تم کوشش کرو گے، بہتر ہوتے جاؤ گے۔
so long as	جب تک	So long as it rains, stay inside.	جب تک بارش ہو رہی ہو، اندر رہو۔
only if	صرف اگر	You pass only if you revise.	تم صرف تب پاس ہو گے اگر دہرا لو گے۔

**Negative Conditions (What happens if not)**

failing that	اگر یہ نہ ہو	Finish the form; failing that, you cannot apply.	فارم مکمل کرو؛ اگر یہ نہ ہوا تو تم درخواست نہیں دے سکتے۔

Limiting Conditions (Setting Boundaries)

in case	اگر ایسا ہو جائے	Take your umbrella in case it rains.	چھتری لے لو اگر بارش ہو جائے۔
in the event that	اگر ایسا ہو تو	In the event that school closes, stay home.	اگر اسکول بند ہو تو گھر رہو۔

Hypothetical Conditions (Imaginary, Possible Situations)

if ever	اگر کبھی	If ever you need me, call.	اگر کبھی تمہیں میری ضرورت ہو تو کال کرنا۔
suppose	فرض کرو	Suppose it rains, what will you do?	فرض کرو بارش ہو جائے، تم کیا کرو گے؟

Counterfactual Conditions (Imaginary + Impossible in past)

if it hadn’t been for	اگر یہ نہ ہوتا	If it hadn’t been for you, I would have failed.	اگر تم نہ ہوتے تو میں فیل ہو جاتا۔

Mixed Hypothetical Structures (Advanced)

if it were not for	اگر یہ نہ ہوتا	If it were not for his effort, we’d fail.	اگر اس کی محنت نہ ہوتی تو ہم فیل ہو جاتے۔

Special Conditional Expressions (Useful in Writing & Speech)

assuming that	یہ فرض کرتے ہوئے	Assuming that you win, celebrate wisely.	یہ فرض کرتے ہوئے کہ تم جیتو گے، سمجھداری سے جشن مناؤ۔
provided	بشرطیکہ	Provided he arrives, we will start.	بشرطیکہ وہ پہنچ جائے ہم شروع کریں گے۔
